The offer was extended by 10 business days and will now expire at 12:00 midnight, New York City time, on Monday, July 1, 2002. The exchange offer period has been extended because the applicable waiting period under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976, as amended, has not yet expired or been terminated.
As of 12:00 midnight, New York City time, on June 17, 2002, approximately 29 million shares of Unilab Corporation common stock had been tendered, representing more than 86% of the outstanding Unilab Corporation common stock.
