Quest Diagnostics Incorporated , the leading provider of diagnostic testing, information and services, announced today that its Board of Directors has elected Rosanne Haggerty to serve as a Director, expanding the Board to ten members.
Ms. Haggerty, 41, is the Founder and Executive Director of Common Ground, a not-for-profit housing development and management organization in New York City providing innovative housing opportunities for homeless adults. Common Ground operates several businesses and employment projects to assist tenants in returning to the work force and enhancing their job skills. In 2001, the Chicago-based MacArthur Foundation awarded a five-year fellowship to Ms. Haggerty through its MacArthur Fellows Program.
Prior to founding Common Ground, Ms. Haggerty was the coordinator of housing development at Brooklyn Catholic Charities, operating in Brooklyn and Queens in New York City. She currently serves as a Trustee of Amherst College and the Folger Shakespeare Library; a Director of the Times Square Business Improvement District; and a Board Member of New York City's Citizens Housing and Planning Council and the Center for Urban Community Services.
