Quest Diagnostics and Oxford Immunotec announced that Quest has completed its acquisition of the U.S. laboratory services business of Oxford Immunotec; the T-Spot.TB tuberculosis and the Accutix tick-borne disease testing services are now part of Quest’s portfolio of infectious disease testing services.

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated, the world's leading provider of diagnostic information services, announced that it is scheduled to speak at the 37th Annual J. P. Morgan Healthcare Conference in San Francisco. UBS initiated coverage of Quest Diagnostics and Laboratory Corporation of America on Thursday with a Neutral and Buy rating, respectively. In a report, analyst Kevin Caliendo put a a 12-month price target in Quest's shares of $90 and wrote that while he believes Quest could take market share from LabCorp and other competing reference labs, his analysis of Quest's long-term strategic partnership with UnitedHealthcare, announced in May, "suggests less switching to Quest than is expected."
