Prism Capital Partners announced it is planning new developments at ON3, a 116-acre campus spanning the cities of Clifton and Nutley Township. The planned construction projects will add approximately 400,000 square feet of laboratory facilities. Prism also stated it is finalizing plans to build a four-story, 150,000-square-foot speculative laboratory building at ON3. Additionally, Quest Diagnostics, leading provider of diagnostic information services, will break ground imminently for a flagship laboratory on a 12-acre parcel. The 250,000-square-foot, owner-occupied lab will become the largest in Quest’s network of 20-plus major laboratory facilities across the country, and will employ more than 1,100 people.

As the industry moves beyond mere EHR adoption and meaningful use, small practices of 10 physicians or fewer told researchers that they want their EMRs to do more than just meet regulatory requirements, a new KLAS report on small physician practices finds. But first, they want the basics to just work better. That means tailoring usability for them and improving customer service. New research released today by Quest Diagnostics, the world’s leading provider of diagnostic insights, shows that a majority of adults don’t know vital health information for them or their family members, but nearly all would like to be able to access their health information online. Results from the “Know Your Numbers“ survey show that more people remember their social media log-ins, current bank balances, Wi-Fi-passwords and even the security code on the back of their credit card than they do important personal health data, including their blood type and cholesterol and blood sugar levels.
